Texas Comptroller Frontrunner is the Proud Owner of Jeffrey Epstein's Creepy New Mexico Ranch

One of Trump’s devoted rich associates is running for Texas comptroller. Oh, and for some weird reason, he bought Jeffrey Epstein’s weird, creepy ranch in New Mexico, where Epstein abused multiple women.

According to city records, Trump-loving businessman Don Huffines, 67, bought Epstein’s so-called Zorro Ranch in Santa Fe after the disgraced financier’s death. Now, why he’d want a morally haunted home with its own built-in gynecological office is beyond me.

According to a statement from Huffines’ campaign spokesperson Allen Blakemore, “Four years after Mr. Epstein’s death, the Huffines family purchased property in New Mexico listed at public auction whose proceeds benefited his victims. Prior to the auction listing, they had never visited the property.” Huffines has since renamed the house of horrors from 49 Zorro Ranch Road to 49 Rancho San Rafael Road.

Huffines, a former state senator from Dallas, calls himself a “courageous MAGA Republican” seeking to “DOGE Texas.” It’s so cringe. And creepy.

The man who bought Epstein’s torture palace has received endorsements from the likes of Texas drip Ted Cruz, conservative influencers Riley Gaines, and Charlie Kirk. Polling released last week showed Huffines holding a steady lead over three other candidates in the GOP primary for Texas comptroller. I wonder how his supporters will feel knowing he owns a sex pest’s old mansion.

“He’s running for Comptroller to bring President Trump’s bold leadership and business-minded discipline to Austin,” the bio on his website reads. Wait. NO. That can’t be right…no, no no. I LIVE IN AUSTIN.

“He has a proven record of fighting for taxpayers, standing with President Trump, and leading with courage when it matters most.” Which means he has a history of screwing over as many people as possible. In fact, let’s look at his platform.

Political ideology:

Huffines is a MAGA Republican with libertarian and Christian roots. He has vowed not to take a state salary if he’s elected comptroller, root out government waste, and ensure no public money is used to benefit any undocumented immigrants.

Policy stances:

• End government regulations that he says get in the way of job creation by burdening businesses

• DOGE-ing Texas by auditing government spending and reimbursing taxpayers through property tax relief

• Studying the cost of undocumented immigration on the state (The comptroller’s office has not conducted such a study since 2006, when it found that such immigrants generated more revenue for the state than they cost the state through the use of services like education.)

• Implement the state’s new school vouchers program with transparency

Epstein purchased the Zorro Ranch in 1993 from former New Mexico governor Bruce King. The notorious pedophile once confided to scientists that he wanted to spread his DNA across the human race by impregnating women at the ranch, according to four sources who spoke to The New York Times.

Several survivors said they were abused by Epstein at the ranch during their youth. Among them was Jane, who said she was only 14 when she suffered abuse at Epstein’s New Mexico ranch. Virginia Giuffre, one of the most outspoken victims, was also pictured at the ranch.
