Weird Republican Candidate Wants to Use Campaign Money For Tinder Date "Strategy"

James Fishback, 31, is a far-right Republican investment CEO who is running for governor in Florida. And what is his bold strategy for growing the Republican Party? Well, he’s begging for donations so he can bother “young female voters” on Tinder with his campaign pitch. Because THIS is a face that’s going to make women want to give their rights away.

In a bold move, Fishback showed off his dating-app harassment strategy to “share my plan to make it easier for them to get married, buy a home, and raise a family.”

In a follow-up post, Fishback complains about “running out of likes” on the app. For those of you living love-filled lives, free Tinder users are given a certain number of swipes and likes a day. Probably to limit the number of women who get bothered by jabronies like him.

He then urged followers to donate to his campaign so he could afford Tinder Plus, a paid subscription that would allow him to swipe right on all the “young” potential female voters as he wants. Tinder Plus costs between $5-$10 per month, which makes his pleas for donations even more baffling. Guy can’t even pay for something that costs less than a venti latte to help his campaign? I’m starting to think he doesn’t want it enough.

Fishback gave a statement about his strategy, which literally comes off as him inviting a bunch of women to dates at the same time and the same place, with that place being one of his campaign rallies.

“When I match with voters on Tinder, I share my full plan and invite them to join us at one of our 15 no-cost, in-person campaign events we’re hosting across Florida this February. I want them to know they’re not alone—and that I’m serious about building a state where all women can thrive.” Golly gee, what a mensch.

Fishback is early in his political career, but, in GOP fashion, has already had several controversies. These controversies include repeatedly calling the other Republican candidate, Bryon Donalds (who is Black) a “slave”, praising far-right, Holocaust-denying, white supremacist Nick Fuentes, and saying that Don Lemon (also Black) should be “hanged in the public square” for covering an anti-ICE protest at a church in Minnesota.

I think this guy might have an issue with black people.

A Florida school district also cut ties with Fishback in 2022 over allegations that he had an inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old student. The former student had also had to file for an order of protection against Fishback last year over his constant harassment of her after they broke up. Fishback says the claims are “completely false,” and that he has “never been arrested, charged, or convicted of any crime.

Because, as we all know, THAT is a foolproof way of showing innocence.

It is kinda weird that a man accused of a relationship with a minor has made his entire political campaign strategy “target young women.”

Fishback, however, seems to be on a moral crusade against women as well. One of his campaign promises is a plan to impose a 50 percent “sin tax” on the income of OnlyFans models.

He’s probably mad that the website only allows girls over 18 to join.
